When Russia invaded Ukraine, our Schools for Democracy team looked for ways to help. The trainers decided to organize meeting places integrating internally displaced children and their families with the local population.

In the middle of the war, from Kyiv, Ukraine’s Minister of Education Serhiy Shkarlet presented a comprehensive plan to mobilize all possible resources to protect and restore education in Ukraine. EWC is ready to support schools and kindergartners in this time of need.

In the framework of the European projects, eTwinning and Convoi77, implemented this year, the students of the 1st Gymnasium of Ampelokipi, prepared their own messages of love and support for their classmates in Ukraine.
