Marios Koukounaras-Liagkis
Marios studied Theology (ΒΑ, ΜΑ, PhD) Greek Literature (BA), and Social Pedagogy (PostDoc). He is an Assistant Professor of Religious Education at National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He worked as a Religious Education teacher and as a Consultant to the Minister of Education and Religious Affairs.
His research interests focuse on Religious Education (learning and teaching), Curriculum, Teacher’s professional development, Human Rights, Inclusive Education and Drama/Theatre in Education. His publications include 6 books and numerous articles.
He is currently working as a coordinator on an Erasmus+ (KA2) project on teaching of Competencies of Democratic Culture and as director of the Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Entity of the NKUA.
Marios is part of the core trainer team of the EWC project “Integration of Refugee Children in Greek Schools”
