Developed through the Schools for Democracy program, this online toolbox contains more than 600 teaching and learning activities for development of school students’ democratic competences. It can be used for lessons at 25 different subjects. There is a search function by subject, student age, type of activity and learning objective (focusing on the 20 competencies for democratic culture).
Developed to promote the CoE RFCDC and to facilitate implementation of the new National Curriculum in the “New Ukrainian School” for 5-9 grades.
Approaches used in the development phase:
The tools were developed by teachers participating in the EWC trainings in 2019-2020. The development process was used for experiential learning during and between the trainings and was facilitated by teacher trainers. Teachers are awarded with certificates for developing a verified activity for the Toolbox.
