Valentina Papeikiene

Senior Advisor

Since joining the centre in 2016 Valentina has coordinated a number of projects in countries of the Nordic-Baltic and Eastern Europe regions.

With a thematic focus on active citizenship education, teaching controversial issues, development of democratic competences, such as critical thinking, the projects center around building the capacity of education institutions and civil society to foster inclusive and democratic learning environments that empower learners and help build their resilience.


Papeikiene holds a Master's degree in Business Management of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania, and has long-term experience of managing and facilitating various European mobility and capacity building projects in higher education.

Prior to her employment at the EWC, she worked as the Head of International Programmes Group at the International Relations Office of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania.
