Marianthi Antoniou
Project Officer
Marianthi Antoniou is a passionate advocate for human rights, with a particular focus on child rights and participation. Her extensive experience spans both formal and non-formal educational settings in Greece, Poland, Germany and France, and online environments. Marianthi's educational background, combined with her master's-level studies in Norway in human rights and multiculturalism, sparked her growing interest in human rights education. This interest was further enhanced through her work with the European Wergeland Centre, where she has been contributing since August 2023. As a dedicated teacher and educator, Marianthi envisions a future where children engage in learning through active interaction, reflection, and the development of critical thinking skills. She is committed to creating educational spaces where children not only learn but also become active participants in their learning journeys.
