Oslo welcomes you to the NECE Festival 2025 

Registration for the NECE Festival 2025: HOPE is open! As the local co-organizer, the European Wergeland Centre looks forward to welcome you to Oslo 2-4 September. 

Join educators, activists, policymakers, and cultural practitioners from across Europe and beyond in  to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and explore new ways to strengthen democratic resilience. 

Themed on HOPE, we will explore how we can harness the power of collective hope to drive resilient, ethical, and sustainable transformation in our communities. This year’s festival will feature globally renowned experts, as well as exciting formats including masterclasses, art performances and cultural activities, networking opportunities, and a chance to co-create the conversation through an open space session – where you can bring your own questions, ideas, and experiences into the heart of the festival.
