Online training: Introduction to methods and supportive techniques for refugee inclusion in school communities

An informative, introductory webinar by the Schools For All trainers’ team on the new handbook created in the framework of the project.

The Schools For All project manual “Introduction to methods and supportive techniques for refugee inclusion in school communities” was presented online on Tuesday 21 June by the project’s team of lead trainers. The online training was held in collaboration with Learn Inn Ekpa with 1437 participants.

Based on the expertise, experiences and practices from the project, we have developed the handbook Methods and supportive techniques for refugee inclusion in school communities. The publication is a practical guide on how to work with different aspects of a school community. The webinar was addressed to primary and secondary school teachers in Greece, as well as professionals active in the field of refugee education. The handbook will be translated into other languages so that it will serve as a useful tool accross Europe.

The team of lead trainers, Gelly Aroni, Hera Potamousi, Angelos Vallianatos and Marios Koukounaras Liagis through their presentations introduced the participants to the principles and work of Schools For All as well as to this new manual.
