Tanya Breslin

Dr. Tanya Breslin (Zaharchenko) has managed international projects for a variety of global organizations, and is a published scholar in Ukrainian studies. She has worked for the United Nations Development Programme, the International Helsinki Federation for Human Rights, and the Children’s Defense Fund, among others.

Tanya holds a Ph.D. in Slavonic studies from the University of Cambridge (2014) and a Master of Science from the University of Oxford (2007). Her work focuses on memory, identity, and nationhood, as well as narratives of conflict. She is the author of "Where Currents Meet: Frontiers in Post-Soviet Fiction of Kharkiv, Ukraine" (2016), as well as a range of articles in international journals and edited volumes.
