Marianne Haugh

Marianne Haugh is senior advisor in the section for Teacher Education and Civil Society with responsibility for several institutional collaborations, as well as project manager for the project “Preparing future teachers in the Western Balkans”.
She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and a Cand.Mag. degree in Anthropology, Latin American Studies and Comparative Politics from the University of Bergen (UiB). She is also trained as a Social Science and Spanish teacher for Upper Secondary School from the University of Oslo (UiO).
Prior to her work in EWC she worked several years in the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad). She has long experience with capacity building programmes through Norad, NGOs (SAIH, Norwegian Red Cross) and as a teacher in Norway, Nicaragua and Cambodia.
